Cell phones have become a part of our everyday lives. When I walk out the door without mine, I get a little frantic! I have an app on my phone that helps me keep track of all the information I need to document for my diabetes. I can log in the amount of carbs I eat, my blood glucose numbers and keep track of the insulin I inject. That doesn’t include that my phone is my line of communication with my children and the rest of my family. I can access my email, check facebook, write a blog post, and get directions all from the palm of my hand.
Yes, when I was a kid, eons ago, we got along without cell phones. If you were going to be separated from your family or friends you always had a plan to meet somewhere at a certain time. We planned ahead. That’s not so much necessary now a days because of our cell phones. We live in the age of technology! We might as well embrace it and use it to make our lives easier in whatever ways we can.
